At first, I had an issue with the #10-32 mandrel because it snapped on the third rivnut, but after using the tool more, I believe the failure was most likely my fault. I did not set the stroke correctly, and I used too much pressure for such a small rivnut size. The #10-32 rivnut requires very little crushing force, and I learned that a short stroke of about 3 to 3.5 mm is enough to secure it properly. Since the mandrel broke, I switched to the M5 mandrel, which is almost identical in size, with the main difference being the metric thread. Using the M5 mandrel with the correct stroke setting, the tool worked flawlessly and installed the rivnuts cleanly and securely. This was my first experience using a rivnut tool, and I was honestly surprised by how little force is needed for the nut to grip sheet metal properly. I contacted the seller through Amazon on a Saturday afternoon, and they responded within just a couple of hours with excellent support. They quickly refunded the cost of a replacement mandrel and even provided a direct link so I could order the correct part. Overall, despite my initial mistake, I am very happy with the tool, the available mandrel options, and the outstanding customer service, although I do think the instructions could be clearer about mandrel installation, removal, stroke adjustment, and recommended stroke values for smaller rivnut sizes

One of the biggest advantages is that you do not always need to search for a wooden stud behind the drywall, which is very useful when something must be mounted in an exact location. In many real situations, the place where you need to install a shelf, lamp, frame, cabinet, or other item does not line up with the wood framing behind the wall. From my experience as a civil engineering engineer with 30 years in the field, this anchor system is strong, practical, and very easy to use when installed correctly. For example, six M6 anchors can support a 100-liter wall-mounted water heater, so smaller household items such as pictures, wall decorations, lamps, and similar objects are not a problem at all. Even heavier installations, such as mounting a large 150-inch TV weighing around 120 kilograms, can be handled with the right preparation and proper installation. Other buyers have already explained how to use the set in great detail, and I appreciate that because this technology deserves to be better known among both professionals and regular homeowners in the United States. The seller was honest, responsible, and very easy to communicate with, which is not something you find every day. This is a great pneumatic riveter for the price, especially for someone who wants a reliable tool for garage or occasional workshop use. Before buying it, I read many reviews online about pneumatic riveters and eventually found this model on Amazon. One reviewer mentioned that it appears to be the same unit as the Astro PR14, with matching part numbers, but this version costs about $20 less and does not have the Astro name engraved on the handle. When it arrived, I was pleased to see that it came with the same type of accessories, including five rivet size tips, an extra set of jaws, and a 1/4-inch air adapter. It did not include full instructions, but it did come with a parts diagram and parts list. To set it up properly, I printed the Astro PR14 instructions from the Astro website and followed those steps. I adjusted the tool, added oil, and changed the tip for 3/16-inch rivets, since it came set up for 1/4-inch rivets. After turning my compressor up to 125 PSI, I started riveting, and the tool worked perfectly. If you are not using it for heavy commercial manufacturing but want a good, dependable pneumatic riveter for home, garage, or repair projects, I definitely recommend it. It has already saved my wrists from the pain and effort of squeezing old manual hand rivet tools

This is a very handy tool and, overall, it is not difficult to use once you understand the correct technique. That said, be prepared to practice on a few rivet nuts first, because there is a good chance you may damage one or two during your first attempts. In my field, when you cannot weld a nut into an awkward or hard-to-reach location, a rivet nut is often the next best solution for creating a secure threaded mounting point. At first, I assumed that the proper method was to start with the handles fully open and then close them completely to make sure the nut was fully compressed behind the panel. However, that is not the right approach. If you force the handles all the way closed, you can damage the rivet nut, deform it too much, or even bend or break the installation stud. The key is to close the handles gently until you feel natural resistance and they no longer want to move easily. After that, give the handles one small extra squeeze just to make sure the rivet nut is fully seated and secure in the correct position. Once you learn that technique, the tool works very well and becomes extremely useful for many repair, fabrication, and installation jobs. The included carrying case is also a great bonus because it keeps the tool, mandrels, and accessories organized and easy to store
